Oscar Winners, Highlights and Gary Busey

February 25th, 2008 by admin

Did you watch the Oscars and the pre-Oscar hooplah? It's been Oscar central here since 2 pm. Highlights:

  • Gary Busey accosting Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Garner on the red carpet. I LOOOVE Gary but he was a little frightening. I would still dig hanging out with him though.
  • John Travolta's coif looked like those old G.I. Joes from the 60's with fuzzy hair and a scar on the cheek. It was cute though, so was his drunken stumble.
  • Erick said that the Best Supporting Actress Tilda Swinton's dress looked like half of a prom dress/half graduation gown. God bless.
  • I think Owen Wilson needs glasses. Still sexy, even with squinty eyes.
  • Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill were unfunny as Halle and Dame Judith but I heart them just the same.
  • Wii cameo.
  • It was nice when they let Marketa Irglova come back and make her speech. It seemed to me like they played her off too quickly.
  • Brad Renfro was missing from the dead actor montage. That didn't seem cool.
  • I'm trying to think of the lamest dress but it's hard to choose just one. Cameron Diaz looked fine but couldn't she have done something with her hair? Throw a little gel on it *wink*
