15 years after sparking the L.A. Riots, Rodney King has been reportedly shot in the arm and face with a shotgun.  The wounds actually don't appear to be life threatening, as I've heard he rode his bicycle home after the attack.  I'm greatful for two things, one, that Rodney King is not in any mortal danger (other than associating with people who have shotguns pointed at him) and two, that Rodney King is NOT driving around town.  The last time he did that, he cost a lot of people their jobs, lives, and livings.

CNN says it confirmed this report. "Early indications are that it very possibly could have been a domestic dispute," San Bernardino Police Lt. Scott Paterson tells the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

It seems like this is just another day in the life of Fate's punching bag, cause de celebre, King, and not a racially motivated attack.  Thank God.

Now as long as nobody says the N-word, this story might be forgotten as fast as all that E.coli at the Taco Bells'.   Maybe.
