Quicker action still may not have prevented the tragedy, probe says. Recommendations include better, faster communications.

The Great Plains Technology Conference is 9 years old and is celebrating with quite a few notable speakers; Lou Dobbs from CNN, Fred Smith from FedEx (CEO), Kyle Warnick from Microsoft (head of the Surface computing platform team), Jonathan Adelstein from the FCC (Commissioner), and Tom Hunter from Sandia Nat'l Labs (President). Should be a good conference.

Went to the drag show at Playmakers last night... it was a good time with good friends. Work kinda dragged today though, but that tends to happen when you're out drinking until 2am the night before. Had a flatulence incident (a coworker cleared a 3 cube radius) and a fun half-team lunch. Now I'm prolly gonna go sleep. Later.
